Adytite Remnants

"This world and all it denizens are doomed. Only we can save ourselves."

Residing within The Cathedral lies the Kiraak of the 'Adytite Remnants'. Enigmatic sorcerers who deal in the magic of flesh. Within this sacred temple of flesh, they actively work to elevate themselves and humanity to usurp the gods.

Overview

The Adyite Remnants arrival to The Cathedral was a peculiar one, a lot of mixed reactions surged due to their beliefs The order, a cult that worships Cthulhu, decided to create an alliance with them, and thus the Pact of Read Dreams was made. A document where all the relations conditions are redacted to have a prosperous relation of alliance and neutrality.

Even though alliances were made, there were mixed relations within The Order. Many believed we did not belong there, they shunned us and actively refused our interactions. On the other hand many choose a path of acceptance, believing we were necessary for the well-being of The Cathedral, even more given the upcoming menace of the Brotherhood of the Black Pharaoh.

Many battles were fought, the raiders constant attacks toward The Cathedral did not succeed thanks to the joint efforts of The Order and The Adyite remnants, specially thanks to our Hunter's Black Lodge troops aiding in the frontline, working hand-to-hand with the Drowned Guards and Leviathans alike.

After the arrival of the Brotherhood of the Black Pharaoh, a cult dedicated to worshiping  Nyarlathotep, major conflict erupted within The Cathedral. The Brotherhood's hostility towards the remnants was evident. Adyites were actively hunted by members of the Sphinx, the conflict arrived to such a point where the sphinx were given orders to target our priests from the Church of the Red Harvest, an unarmed and non-combative division.

Currently war and conflict are still raging within The Cathedral, a war made of two sides, The Adyite Remnants and The Order against the Brotherhood and independent raiders.

Relations

The Order: Even though the Adyite remnants are not strictly allies with them, they follow a strictly neutral relationship with them. This means that both the remnants and The Order do not intervene in each other's business, but still sometimes both parties attend each other's rituals and traditions. Even some priests (CRH and Harbingers) share each other's belief with absolute respect and sometimes Troops from the HBL and Drowned Guards/Leviathans join forces when fighting the different raiding parties that constantly attack the Cathedral.

Even though neutrality prevails, from time to time conflict appears. Due to the failure to follow the Pact of Red Dreams sometimes Adyites and Order members have been seen fighting, often these conflicts end up with some casualties for both sides but do not tend to escalate any further so that peace between both parties continues even though some Order members are against it.

Brotherhood of the Black Pharaoh: A strictly hostile faction that actively hunts Adyites out of pure spite, members of this faction are purely hostile towards any remnant they find, engaging in combat as soon as they see a Sarkite. Any sort of mediation has been impossible and any sort of neutrality has been brief and tense (For example during the Corruption of Leviathans). Combat and hostilities have augmented between both sides and the killings and raidings have only increased.

Raiders: Independent raiders have been seen actively hunting Adyites, but given the inconsistency and interactions with them they are mostly considered hostiles. Even though combat between both parties has been seen, they don't tend to instantly engage with each other given some do not attack the remnants, still precaution is recommendable.
