Age: Roughly 4000 years old.
Affiliation: Nalka/Sarkic/ Loyal to Grand Karcist Ion.
Lovataar ( The Hivemother, The Mother), is one of the four High Karcists/Klavigar of the Sarkic Cults/Kalmaktama Empire. Lovataar is the patron of love and compassion in the Sarkic Cults, being called upon as a symbol of unity and growth of relationships.
Unlike the other Klavigar, Lovataar wasn’t born a slave in the Daevite Empire, on the contrary, being born to the very Empress of the Daevite Empire, “ The Blood Matriarch". Being the most beautiful daughter of the Empress, she grew in the customs of the ruthless, slaver Daevites, accepting much of the philosophy of the Daevite culture. Her life is mostly unknown during this period, however it could be theorized that she had been a participant of many political activities, being one of the members of the royal family, and attaining a significant influence and role in the Empire.
After Ion sparked his rebellion, Lovataar showed pure disdain and hatred towards the movement, and towards the Grand Karcist personally. Sending countless slave-hunters and the most professional assassins of the Empire to capture and kill Ion. Yet, none of them ever returned back and she never received any reports of successful assasination. Soon, her hatred transformed into infatuation with the powerful being, sparking the desire to capture the Grand Karcist and make him a royal consort of hers. Tho, after a series of failed capture attempts, one night, the Grand Karcist himself snuck into the chamber of Lovataar. Initially hostile, she tried to kill the Grand Karcist out of self-defence, but Ion calmed her, and whispered something which remains a mystery to this day, allegedly only for her to know. After this dialogue, Lovataar became Ion’s lover, and vice versa, leaving the Empire and joining the rebellious movement. Though the other Klavigar, especially Orok, were initially skeptical of Lovataar, soon they accepted her as one of Nalka.
After the rebellion of Ion was over, Lovataar assisted at the expansion of the Kalmaktama Empire, staying close to Ion as advisor. Soon enough, the Kalmakatama Empire made contact with the Mekhanite Empire. The geo-political and philosophical differences sparked a lot of tension which soon grew into a war , known as “ The first war of the Flesh”. Lovataar, along with the other Klavigar, lead the armies of the Kalmaktama Empire, successfully crushing a lot of resistance on her way. During this time, the powerful artifact, known as the “ Staff of Ion” was produced from her body, as a gift to the Grand Karcist, which was used until the very end of the war. Despite the enormous might and successful tactic, the Kalmaktama Empire lost the war, and was soon drawn to their last stand at the capital of the Empire, Adytum. There, in a culminating battle, the Grand Karcist Ion disappeared into another plain of existence, alongside the mythical city. Soon afterwards, the last resistance of the Kalmaktama Empire was crushed, and the Klavigar, alongside the minor leaders fled and scattered.
Though her love and leader was gone, Lovaatar didn’t stop following the ways of Nalka. She soon began adopting new personalities, trying to regulate the different tribes and cults left after the war, using her cunning political mind and rich experience to strengthen their position and regulate what was left of the Empire, and to actively search ways of bringing the Grand Karcist back into the material plane.
