More actions
Keep the existing archive structure and naming conventions. Read access levels before editing; login and appropriate permissions are required.
Create a page
Search for an existing page first. Use the title field below for a general document or character. These buttons open an editor with a preload; they do not save or approve a page.
The default namespace comes from your entered title. Use Solomonari: for lore-keeper articles, fables, people and reports; CotRH: for Church sermons and prayers. Main-space stories are submitted under Stories/; accepted stories have historically been indexed under Stories/Accepted/. Do not move a submission there merely to imply acceptance.
Preserve established title spelling and case. Main page already redirects to Main Page; no duplicate homepage is needed. Discuss renames and check incoming links first.
Reusable components
- Template:Document status: one status near the top; review status separately from canon.
- Template:Character Panel: existing character infobox, with optional image and alternative text.
- Template:Incomplete or Template:Placeholder: explain missing content without deciding canon.
- Template:Archive navigation: navigation on archive index pages.
- Help:Related pages: editor-selected next-reading cards and short descriptions.
- Template:Collapsible section: native disclosure for supplementary notes and lists.
Sources and formatting
Use headings, lists and templates instead of repeated inline styles. Preview before saving and include an informative edit summary. Use [https://example.org Source title] for an external link and [[Page title|Label]] for a wiki link. Cite sources with <ref>Source details and link</ref> and place <references /> under Sources.
Record original creators, source links and licence information for imported content and files; see Licensing. Do not infer a licence from a missing file template. Add meaningful alternative text to images. Avoid fixed widths and hardcoded colours.
Add one appropriate topic category such as Category:Articles, Category:People of interest, Category:Stories, Category:Poems, Category:Sermons, Category:Prayers or Category:Reports. Status categories are supplied automatically. Test on mobile when changing shared templates.
For shared template or Lua changes, use an article preview with proposed code before publishing.
See Help:Document status and Help:Maintenance.
