Status: According to the most recent documentation of the Cascading Garden, this Person of Interest is currently alive and healthy. Chances to monitor them are high but primarily come from third party sources, social media accounts, news and gossip circles due to her alternate persona as a travel blogger whose connections reach far into multiple high-class circles.
Related GOI’s: Through thorough investigation by our own investigators and acquired documents from third-party resources, we have found several different GOI’s that have mentioned or have extensively contacted Aria. Among these is the Cascading Garden which, after receiving a new sect article, has been confirmed as the best lead to piecing together her identity. Besides the Cascading Garden, she has been connected to several others, such as: Saints Of The Brine Pool, Infernal Church Of Bone and the Washington Archivists.
Description: Aria Cortez was born in Seattle, Washington, a Filipino-American born to Armando Cortez and Maria Dela Cruz. Her early life was unremarkable, showing no signs of influence or suspicious events, even during her early adult life. Though things took a turn when she turned 26. According to our investigation team, she had been kidnapped and sold after failing to repay a few loans to a disreputable loaning company. She was found a few months later in China, contracted to work under -/-/-/-/-/-. For about 6 years, she was under the control of her contractor and reports have shown that she had undergone a personality change, possibly due to the mental instability that was injected into her life as well as the physical harm she had endured. One report provided a photo of her sitting seemingly alone at an unknown sushi café. Her facial expressions give off a mix of fatigue and frustration towards someone, possibly whoever she was facing at the time. Though we’ve received another photo that is more recent, dated to be taken around last year. She seemingly has a more relaxed facial expression but came with a sudden modification of her body, presumably. Her dog ears and tail have been noted by the public as simple fashion add-ons that gained a bit of traction as a fashion trend for a few months. Though those who knew of her alternate identity would beg to differ.
Shortly after the 6th year of her career as a ‘contracted’ servant, she disappeared along with her contractor. We speculate that this was around the time she had been recruited into the Cascading Garden as she re-appeared a few months later, spotted landing in Tokyo, Japan. The body of her contractor was also found around the same time, pulled up from the Yangtze River after it was seen lazily floating down a nearby stream. He was examined and his cause of death was determined to be from heavy, heavy bludgeoning.
Based on the recording that was attached to the document as well as the implications of the picture that was left, her role within the Cascading Garden had become one of importance, teaching new-comers in the way of the Nalka as well as actively manipulating the flow of information given to outsiders. Though that bundle of information came at a cost, as the missing researcher has not been found, a shame but progress cannot be made without sacrifices.
